IFQ001 - Commercial At-Sea Pacific Whiting Fishery and Shoreside Targeted Whiting Fishery Summary Data
Description
This report was generated using NORPAC at-Sea observer data and shoreside landings from the PacFIN comprehensive fish ticket table. Shoreside commercial landings are derived using the following criteria: (1) IFQ landing, (2) participation group is commercial, (3) gear is mid-water trawl and (4) round pounds of whiting is >= 50% of the total vessel-day-gear landings. Both at-sea and shoreside catch are in round metric tons except for prohibited and protected species, which are reported as the number of fish caught. The numbers of fish for salmon and Pacific halibut are taken directly from the electronic tickets. In-season data is subject to revisions.
